What do you find in your laundry?

So, I know this blog is about homeschooling. However, since everyone reading this most likely has children, I wish to vent to my fellow parents out there.

Where does all this weird stuff come from in our laundry?

Just maybe, I am the only one. But, somehow, I can't believe that I am the only parent that finds crazy items when I am trying to wash clothes.
Normally, my laundry loads start out normally enough. Then, deep in the basket, crayons, wrappers, hairbrushes and pencils begin to appear.

We live in a very small place and I am with my children 24 hours a day. But, I still cannot figure how they smuggle these items into the laundry basket!

Flashlights. Highlighters. Hairbands. And, the occasional frog, abound!

WHY?
