Christian Curriculum
Bob Jones has been around a long time as a Christian publisher for Christian schools.
The material is arranged according to the traditional teaching methods, and the teaching manuals are usually exhaustive.
This curriculum presupposes you most likely have a background in education.
It offers curriculum for every grade level, and in every standard subject found in traditional schools.
It is considered a rigorous, college preparation curriculum.

Like Bob Jones, Abeka has been around for a while and originally catered to Christian private schools.
It follows a traditional teaching method and has curriculum for every grade level and typical academic course.
It is perhaps slightly less rigorous than Bob Jones, but it should also prepare the average student for college level courses.

Generations is a fairly new publishing company that was started by Kevin Swanson. He was homeschooled by missionary parents in the 1980s and has continued that practice with his own children.
Generations is a young earth, creationism curriculum that teaches a thoroughly Biblical worldview.
The courses are engaging. They are still building their curriculum, but have most grades and subjects written at this point.

Masterbooks is affiliated with Answers in Genesis, a well know young earth, creationist organization.
They have curriculum for every course and level with a focus on developing a Biblical worldview from the earliest age.
Masterbooks was written for homeschoolers specifically. Many of their authors were homeschooled during the pioneer days and have a unique appreciation for the homeschooling movement.

This publisher offers beautiful curriculum in all subjects. A bonus is that they offer their K-8th grade Language Arts and Math curriculum for free as a digital download.
This is a nice touch and helps you take a look inside to see if you want the curriculum. You can also order their print curriculum as well.

This program is a self-paced curriculum that was designed primarily for private schools that don't have teachers for every grade level. In these settings, one teacher presides over a classroom of mixed grades and assists as needed.
This is not considered to be a rigorous curriculum because it is designed for students to progress with very little assistance from a parent or teacher.
The advantage is that it is an easy curriculum for a busy parent that may not have time to be a full time teacher in the home.

Sonlight offers curricula in every grade level and subject.
They are decidedly Christian with a focus learning through literature. I would consider this a blend of Charlotte Mason and Classical.
They are not fancy, but have all the core needs met with Christian efficiency.

Memoria offers all grade levels and subjects and is strongly Classical. They make this very clear from the first sentence on their website.

Alpha and Omega and Monarch are from the same publisher.
They have been around for a while selling kits with individual, self-paced booklets. The program covers what is needed. Although it is not especially rigorous.
If you are a busy parent who cannot always be around, Alpha Omega may be for you.
Monarch is the online version of the curriculum and geared especially towards homeschoolers.

CLP is written in the reformed tradition and teach the Bible according to the beliefs set down in the Westminster Confession.
They offer curriculum in all grade levels and subjects.
They have been around for a while and have been open to selling to homeschoolers as well as Christina private schools for a long time.

Special Interest Curriculum
Logic of English was started by former school teachers who saw a real issue with how reading had been taught in the school system.
They offer curriculum for younger and upper grade levels that attempt to fix reading issues.
This company was started by a homeschool family. It is well written and methodically documented.
They offer history courses in Elementary, Middle and High School levels.
These books are written from a Biblical worldview and involves a heavy amount of reading.
This curriculum has been written by Dr. Jay Wile after he moved on from his older company, Apologia.
These are unique books on science and read like a mixture of history and science which is an excellent and engaging approach.
He offers science courses in Elementary, Middle and High School levels.
Apologia was founded on a creation-based science approach and has a hands-on method of learning. Experiments that utilize easily purchased items make this a unique curriculum written specifically for homeschoolers.
They offer science in all grade levels. They are also branching out into Worldview, Bible, Language Arts and Math.
There is also an online section for homeschoolers.
Secular Curriculum
Ascellus is a rigorous, secular homeschool curriculum that is all online.
They have an emphasis on science and offer college-prepatory level curriculum.
Adventure Academy is for 8-13 olds and is online. It is an engaging, free program that, at the very least, may offer a nice add on to your homeschool program.
This company has definitely what I would call an Unschooling vibe. It was specifically developed to be secular with a focus on nature-based learning.
They currently offer elementary level curriculum.
This program doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles but covers the core subjects for all grade levels.
It was designed to be secular.
