How do you prepare your child to defend their faith?

As I have said often on this site, we are followers of Christ. Therefore, apologetics and evangelism are big parts of our beliefs.
Now, you may not be a Christian. And, if so, you certainly don't have to explore this area.
But, if you are a parent who is a Christian, frankly, you really need to explore the world of apologetics and evangelism.
Your child's worldview is a vital aspect of how you are raising them. (Or at least I hope it is.)
If you are a believer, you want your child to have a solid foundation in their worldview. But, you also want them to be able to defend and explain that worldview and to evangelize those around them everyday.
In my opinion, preparing your child for going out into the world and proclaiming the love of Christ is a three step process.
I have arranged the curriculum according to those three steps: worldview, apologetics and evangelism.

Step 1: Worldview
Develop your child's worldview according to Biblical Christianity.

Step 2: Apologetics
Teach them what the world will say about their beliefs and how to defend and explain what they believe.

Step 3: Evangelism
Focus on sharing the love of Jesus Christ with a dying world. He is the only answer to why things are the way they are.
And, most importantly, He is the only way to be saved from this fallen creation.
