Financially Stable

I am sure it is a desire for all parents to see their child thrive in adulthood and never suffer, ever.
Of course, we know, given the reality of the world we live in, that is an impossibility.
It would be nice, though.

Since perfection doesn't seem to be a viable option, we have to settle for the best possible scenario:
Preparing them with wisdom for the world they will inherit.

What does that look like?
First, knowing that money only spends once is a great start! 😄
I am sure you remember your children making innocent comments about how nice it must be to be an adult so they can buy whatever they want.
If only they knew!

Joking aside, giving them a chance to handle money (use cash, man) helps them to see how quickly it goes. It seeds respect, I assure you.
As they get old enough to do so, let them have some form of a job where they can learn what it is to work, earn and lose it all on one shopping trip!

There was a girl I used to babysit. When she was 16 or 17 she got her first job at a fast food place. When she got her first paycheck, she was shocked to see that taxes had been taken from her paycheck! She called me and whined loudly, "I am under 18, they aren't allowed to tax me!"

Oh...how sweet it is to be so innocent.

Teach your child economics! It will serve them their whole life.
